Why Yes on J and No on I?

The political strategists behind Prop I are trying to confuse you.

Here’s what you need to know:

Why Yes on J?

  1. Proposition J makes Car-Free JFK Promenade permanent (again)

  2. Proposition J keeps Great Highway Park open on Fridays/weekends

  3. Proposition J makes these spaces more equitable and accessible

  4. Proposition J fights climate change and increases street safety

Why No on I?

  1. Proposition I eliminates Car-Free JFK Promenade forever

  2. Proposition I eliminates Great Highway Park forever

  3. Proposition I makes these spaces less equitable and accessibile

  4. Proposition I will—unnecessarily—cost taxpayers at least $80 million
